Walter and William Henry were cousins, William Henry was Sandra's husband's uncle.
Walter Wigglesworth
He was born Dec 1/4 1890 (worked for Sheffield Gas Co) The son of Isaac Wigglesworth (Fireman during the war) and
Annie Ellen Hill (Annie died 1893). of 7 Court 1 House, Chatham Street Sheffield. He had an elder brother, Herbert and younger sister Florence.
Walter was a Lance Corporal With the Northumberland Fusiliers 10th Battalion - Service No 41982 (previously with the West Yorkshire Regiment
Service No 12951)
He died on 02/06/1917 age 27 and is remembered on the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial - Grave panel 8 12.
William Henry Wigglesworth
William was the son of James and Elizabeth Heppell,
born in Sheffield - siblings Elizabeth, Frederick, James, Alice, George, Alfred Thomas, Frank,
Lilian and Ernest -
all born Sheffield. He married Mary Ellen Parker and although born in Sheffield he enlisted in Rotherham as his parents had moved to
Dalton Lane Dalton and he resided at 2 Monk Street Rotherham.
William was a Corporal in the York & Lancs (service No 202059) 1/4th Hallamshire battalion.
He died in the battle for Kemmel on 26/04/1918 age 27
and is buried in Suffolk Cemetery , Vierstraat, Kemmel, Belgium.
