Weston Street United Methodist Church and Institute

The wooden Plaque/Tablet bearing the names of 7 men who died in the war has the inscription-

‘1914 – 1918 Faithful unto death this tablet is erected to the memory of the members of Weston Street United Methodist Church and Institute who laid down their lives in the Great War, and as a token of thankfulness to Almighty God for the safe return of very many of their fellow members who took part in the war’

This Tablet was moved at some time to Crookesmoor Methodist Church, which has since closed, where is the tablet
